How will I know if the tuition programme is having a positive impact?
Students submit weekly assignments which they will receive detailed feedback on. I certainly hope your child will make progress and achieve their target grade, but this will depend on your child's commitment and ability. No guarantees of a particular grade are ever given, but I have a huge amount of experience and my reviews speak for themself. I will certainly work hard to support your child and add value to their learning.
Do you offer face to face tuition?
No, all tuition programmes are online.
What teaching experience do you have?
I have been teaching in secondary schools for twenty years. I have worked as Head of Maths and Economics and as Assistant Head. I have successfully prepared thousands of students for exams for a range of exam boards. I have tutored students throughout my career and enjoy being an additional support for students.
How is this programme better than 1:1 tuition?
Whilst some students thrive in a 1:1 scenario, it doesn't work for all. The intense nature of 1:1 sessions and the fact that there is no contact in between the sessions often means that students don't retain information learned in the sessions.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, you can pay the first instalment upfront as a deposit and then set up two final automatic payments.
For the twelve week course:
The monthly cost is £220, so the final cost is £660, with a discount of £60 if the programme is paid for in one go at the start of the course.
For the year long course:
The termly cost is £330, so the final cost is £990, with a discount of £90 if the programme is paid for in one go at the start of the course.
What happens if my child can't attend one of the live sessions?
All sessions are recorded and will be posted in the member only portal, so your child can access the video at a later date. This also means all students can watch them again if they feel they may have missed something.
